The state of New Hampshire presented Stanley M. Hawthorne with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of New Hampshire Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Stan guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to decline or terminate representation when required to do so

As a consequence of his misconduct his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Conduct Committee punished Stan by gifting him with complimentary censure.
