The state of Virginia presented Edgar Hampton DeHart Jr. with a law license in 1993.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Eddy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Client’s lawsuit dismissed due to passage of limiting statute

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Eddy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Eddy practices in Woodlawn, Virginia.
