The state of Virginia presented Willis B. Hunt Jr. with a law license in 1954 after he graduated from the University of Virginia Law School.
Former president Bill Clinton was duped into nominating Willy as a U.S. District Court judge for the Northern District of Georgia in 1995. Willy didn’t get the nomination because he was the most qualified lawyer in the Atlanta area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks
Beginning in 2003 Willy began to receive a Georgia judicial pension of $121,330 in addition to his federal judicial salary of $154,700. The table below sets forth his insatiable appetite for state and federal “caloric intake” from 2003 through 2015.
