Judge Marilyn Paja of Port Orchard, WA; ethical leprechaun
The state of Washington presented Marilyn Gail Paja with a law license in 1979 after
she graduated from the University ofPuget Sound Law School.
The Judicial Commission found Marilyn guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, while campaigning for a judicial position, Marilyn violated the Code of Judicial
Conduct by personally soliciting campaign funds in a letter and, through the actions of campaign
volunteers.
Marilyn also found it acceptable to county resources to deliver her campaign materials.
As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington
State Supreme Court punished Marilyn by gifting her with a complimentary admonishment.
As we speak (February 2016), Marilyn continues to sit as a Gig Harbor Municipal Court judge in
Port Orchard, Washington.
