Judge Robert Solomon of Norwood, NJ; ethical dwarf

The State of New Jersey presented Robert A. Solomon with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Drake University Law School.

The Supreme Court of New Jersey Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct found Judge Solomon guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Abused office to further private interests of party appearing before him
  • Engaged in prohibited ex parte (one-sided) communications
  • Displayed bias in favor of defendant in his court
  • Failed to recuse (withdraw) from case when required to do so
  • Engaged in an obvious conflict of interest
  • Failed to respect and comply with the law

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Bobby continues to sit as a Municipal Court judge in Norwood, New Jersey.
