Attorney Jo Anne Assini of Schenectady, NY; bullying loser

The State of New York presented Jo Anne Assini with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from the Albany Law School.

Jo Anne’s misconduct took place while she sitting as SchenectadyCounty Family Court Judge, which caused the New York Commission on Judicial Conduct to find her guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to advise litigants of lawful right to counsel
• Told litigant employed as security guard who was wearing uniform to court after work that he “looked like a slob” and should have dressed like normal people do
• Repeatedly and cheerfully violated a litigants due process rights
• Addressed litigants in demeaning, sarcastic and intimidating manner
• Failed to act impartially
• Engaged in a pattern of serious misconduct in family law matters

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Jo Anne by gifting her with a complimentary censure.
