Attorney Amy Brown of Melville, NY; convicted felon

The state of New York presented Amy Lesserson Brown with a law license in 1983 after she graduated from Hofstra University Law School.

The Appellate Division, Second Department found Amy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Amy entered a pleaof guilty to the crimes of assault in the second degree, a class D felony, and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a drug or alcohol, and assault in the third degree, in violation of Penal Law § 120.00 (2), both misdemeanors.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Appellate Division, Second Department panel punished Any by ordering that she be disbarred.

Several years later, the comedians at the Appellate Division, Second Department had the chutzpah to reinstate Amy’s law license. Apparently, they were of the belief that she was entitled to earn a dishonest living practicing law.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Amy practices in Melville, New York.
