The Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal found Ian guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Exposed client to economic loss
• Failed to deal with client in good faith

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Queensland Bar punished Ian by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
