During a recent (early January 2016) appearance on “The Common Sense” comedy show, hosted by resident comedian Dave Hodges, Ammon said that his group is peaceful and are in fact trying to prevent future “war and violence.” (Brian Tashman)

Amman the Comic went on to tell Hodges’ intellectually infirm listeners:

• “We’re here because we feel that the Lord wanted us to be here.”
• “We are not here to be protesters and we never did come here to be protesters.” he said. “We didn’t come to cause a war either, in fact, that’s exactly the opposite.”
• “We felt that if we did not stand now when the people had good reason to stand and if we did not make this stand, that eventually down the years, and you know how close we’re getting, eventually, very soon, that it would come to war.”
• “We felt that we needed to make this stand now so that we can peacefully go through this process and get the people back on their feet without war or violence.”

Why is that the crackpots and right-wing ideologues claim that their illegal actions were inspired by Jesus? Only someone with an I.Q. just a tad higher than the legal speed limit in a school zone would believe such crap.

And lastly, how do you think you’d be treated if you broke into a federal building and seized heavy equipment belonging to the taxpayers? You damn sure could expect to be immediately arrested and jailed.

Congrats Ammon; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Standup Comedians”; you are far too humble.
