Judge Leroy Laiche Jr. of Prairieville, LA; greedy bully

The state of Louisiana presented Leroy J. Laiche Jr. with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Marquette University Law School.

The Louisiana Judiciary Commission found Judge Laiche guilty of the following misconduct, which has led to it recommending that Leroy be removed from his judgeship.

  • Engaged in rude behavior in the courtroom
  • Improperly handled peace bonds
  • Abused his authority to issue bonds
  • Improperly jailed people for failing to abide by peace bonds
  • Failed to adequately refund expired peace bonds
  • Double charged filing fees associated with peace to enrich himself
  • Unfit and unqualified to sit as a justice of the peace
  • Engaged in willful misconduct
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Leroy by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Leroy continues to sit as a Justice Court judge in Prairieville, Louisiana.
