Attorney Marc Kurzman of Minneapolis; serial offender 

The state of Minnesota presented Marc G. Kurzman with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from Marquette University Law School.

The Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility found Marc guilty of the following misconduct.

In addition to the two (2) findings of misconduct set forth below, Marc has also received eight (8) complimentary admonitions and one (1) complimentary term of probation for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

Marc’s 10^th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to prepare required trust account trial balances
• Transferred trust account funds to accounts in financial institutions not approved as depositories for Minnesota client funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Marc by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Marc’s 11^th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Asked witness a question that assumed he had been accused of sexual misconduct with minors without a good faith basis for asking said question
• Failed to provide copy of client’s file for unreasonable period of time
• Failed to submit records to court as directed
• Provided materials from multiple clients’ file to another client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Marc by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.
