Attorney Jeffrey Wertz of Aspen, CO; ethical elf

The state of Colorado provided Jeffrey Larkin Wertz with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Alan entered into a business transaction with his client without giving any written disclosures or advice to his client about possible and/or actual conflicts of interest. Alan also had an attorney-client relationship with the company he formed with his client.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2015), Jeff practices with Feldman & Wertz at 215 South Monarch Street in Aspen, Colorado.
