Attorney David Furtado of Denver; ethical gremlin

The state of Colorado provided David J. Furtado with a law license in 1997.

The Colorado State Bar found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Opened up accounts for marijuana related businesses even though he was aware that Wells Fargo had a policy of not allowing said accounts
• Failed to advise Wells Fargo the accounts were marijuana businesses
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2015), Dave practices with Furtado Law PC at 3773 Cherry Creek North in Denver, Colorado.
