Attorney Philippe DioGuardi of Ottawa, CAN; moronic loser

The Law Society of Upper Canada presented Philippe DioGuardi with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of Ottawa Law School.

The Law Society of Upper Canada found Phil guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Took money from at least six clients before performing any services
  • Failed to timely file income tax returns
  • Failed to perform legal services in competent manner (moron)
  • Failed to act with integrity (What’s new?)
  • Conduct was to the potential detriment of clients
  • Failed to deposit client funds in proper trust account
  • Owed more that $140,000 in back taxes
  • Overdrew law firm’s account by $2 million

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Phil by gifting him with a complimentary 6-week suspension of his law license and a $5,000 fine.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Phil practices with DioGuardi & Co. LLP at 300-100 Gloucester Street in Ontario, Canada.
