Attorney Sam Nailling Jr. Union City, TN; repeat offender

The state of Tennessee provided John Michael Murphy with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Sammy guilty of the following misconduct.

Sammy’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to advise client of status of legal matter
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Sammy!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Sammy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
