Attorney John Murphy of Memphis; convicted tax scofflaw

The state of Tennessee provided John Michael Murphy with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the Memphis University Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Johnny pled no contest for failing to file income tax returns for three (3) consecutive years.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2015) Johnny practices at 6389 North Quail Hollow Road in Memphis, Tennessee.
