Attorney Ben McFarlin Jr. of Murfreesboro, TN; repeat offender

 

The state of Tennessee provided Ben Hall McFarlin Jr. with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Benny guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Benny’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Neglected closing estate matter in timely manner
  • Failed to respond to information requests from beneficiaries
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Benny!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Benny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

Benny’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to make timely tax and accounting filings in estate matter
  • Failed to refrain from representing differing interest in estate matter
  • Neglected an estate matter entrusted to him

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Benny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

As we speak (ca. December 2015) Benny practices at 20 Public Square in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
