Attorney Philip Farthing of Norfolk, VA; ethical misfit

The state of Virginia presented Philip R. Farthing with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Washington & Lee University Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Phil guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Phil found it acceptable to knowingly violate the Real Estate Settlement Act.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Phil by gifting him with a complimentary $500 find.
