Attorney Jon Wiederholt of Anchorage; lying bully

The state of Alaska presented Jon E. Wiederholt with a law license in 1983.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Khaled guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Filed a false affidavit in court (perjury)
  • Kicked opposing counsel
  • Forged client’s signature to a check
  • Threatened to disclose client confidences
  • Used profane, threatening and abusive language toward opposing counsel
  • Improperly delayed discovery
  • Engaged in disruptive tactics in defense of a case
  • Improper contact with represented party
  • Wrote threatening letter to unrepresented party on behalf of client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Alaska Surpeme Court Disciplinary Counsel punished Jon by ordering that he be disbarred. Unfortunately, the comedians on the Court subsequently reinstated Jon’s law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Alaska are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Jon was never criminally charged with perjury or forgery.

As we speak (ca. November 2015), Jon practices with Aglietti, Offret & Woofter at 733 West Fourth Avenue in Anchorage, Alaska.
