Attorney James McElroy of Memphis; ethical dwarf

The state of Tennessee provided James Everett McElroy with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Memphis State University Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to timely tell client employment termination lawsuit was dismissed
  • Failed to keep client advised about status of legal matter

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2015) Jimmy practices at 3780 South Mendenhall Road in Memphis, Tennessee.
