Attorney Richard Mayer II of Knoxville; repeat offender

The state of Tennessee provided Richard M. Mayer II with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Creighton University Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

Dick’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

In one matter, Dick placed an advertisement in newspapers of general circulation regarding the availability of bankruptcy relief. However, portions of the advertisement were deemed to be misleading in that the bill consolidation statement in the ad failed to mention this as being a Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceeding.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

  • Failed to communicate with opposing party’s attorney
  • Failed to send default notice to opposing party

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with yet another complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2015) Dick practices at 1111 North Northshore Drive in Knoxville, Tennessee.
