Attorney William Love of Nashville; serial offender

 

The state of Tennessee provided William Douglas Love with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the Nashville Law School.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Billy’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

  • Failed to appear in court as ordered on client’s behalf
  • Trial judge dismissed client’s case for failure to attend hearing
  • Failed to notify client of dismissal of client’s case
  • Engaged in a pattern of neglect

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

Billy’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

  • Advised two clients they needn’t appear in court re: traffic offenses because he’d appear and handle the matters
  • Failed to appear in traffic court on behalf of clients as promised
  • Both traffic court clients received default judgments against them
  • Failed to refund clients’ already advanced fees for traffic court cases

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

 

Billy’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

  • Failed to perform legal work
  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Failed to promptly refund unearned fees (cheater)
  • Failed to timely file lawsuit on behalf of client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. November 2015) Billy practices in Nashville, Tennessee.
