Attorney Keith Lieberman of Knoxville, TN; repeat offender

 

The state of Tennessee provided Keith Lee Lieberman with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Keith guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Keith’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to timely file appellate brief on client’s behalf
  • Failed to contact clerk’s office after numerous requests to do so
  • Court of Criminal Appeals issued show cause contempt order if Keith did not appear at show cause hearing
  • After failing to appear at show cause hearing, arrest warrant issued
  • Held in contempt of court and sentenced to two days in jail

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Keith by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

Keith’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to file notice of appeal in post conviction matter
  • Client forced to file pro se motion for delayed appeal
  • Delayed 6 months before requesting to withdraw

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Keith by gifting him with another complimentary censure.

 

As we speak (ca. November 2015) Keith practices at 317 Luther Jackson Drive in Knoxville, Tennessee.
