Attorney Edwin Lenow of Memphis; repeat offender

 

The state of Tennessee provided Edwin Charles Lee Lenow with a law license in 1967 after he graduated from the University of Memphis Law School.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Eddie guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Eddie’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Neglected clients’’ legal matters
  • Failed to adequately communicate with client
  • Negligence led to clients’ case being dismissed for failure to prosecute

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Eddie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

Eddie’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to deposit client’s settlement check into client trust account
  • Improperly calculated his fee and expenses due to third parties
  • Included client’s medical expenses in fee calculations
  • Failed to disburse or pay client medical bills for 3 years

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Eddie by gifting him with a complimentary 45-day suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. November 2015) Eddie practices at 1415 Madison Avenue n Memphis, Tennessee.
