Attorney Lynne Torgerson of Minneapolis; congenital liar

The state of Minnesota presented Lynne Torgerson with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the William Mitchell Law School.

The Minnesota Office of Lawyer Regulation found Lynne guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Disobeyed a court order
  • Repeatedly made false statements
  • Made unfounded accusations against a judge
  • Acted belligerently toward judge and court staff
  • Charged nonrefundable fee

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Lynne by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2015), Lynne practices at 100 South Fifth Street in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
