Barrister Bruce Laurie of Brisbane, AUS; tax scofflaw

The Victorian Law Society presented Bruce Angus Laurie with a law license in 1987.

The Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal found Bruce guilty of the following misconduct.

• Pled Failed to file income tax returns for nine consecutive years
• Repeatedly failed to comply with his civic responsibilities
• Provided sham excuses for failing to file tax returns
• Pled guilty to 20 offenses under the Taxation and Administration Act
• Pled guilty to 8 counts of failing to furnish tax returns
• Pled guilty to 12 counts of failing to file Business Activity Statements

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2015), Bruce practices at 107 North Quay in Brisbane, Australia.
