Judge Tammy Lee of Monroe, LA; cheating loser

The state of Louisiana presented Tammy Deon Lee with a law license in 1993 after she graduated from Southern University Law School.

Tammy succeeded in duping the voters in the Monroe, Louisiana area into electing her as District Court judge in 2000.

The Judiciary Commission of Louisiana found Tammy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to timely render judgments in 18 specific cases
• Failed to report failures to issue timely rulings to Judicial Administrator’s Office
• Failed to uphold the integrity of the judiciary
• Failed to respect and comply with the law
• Failed to promptly dispose of the business of the court
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in willful and persistent failure to perform her duties
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Charged travel expenses on court credit card despite receiving advance payment for the same expenses for the court 
• Failed to file expense report
• Failed to repay court for advanced travel costs for nearly two years
• Tammy was overpaid $7,769 for 18 trips

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Tammy by gifting her with a complimentary 120-day suspension of her law license.

Because Judicial Misfits in Louisiana are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Tammy was never criminally charged for fraud or theft.

As we speak (October 2015), Tammy continues to sit as a District Court judge in Monroe, Louisiana.
