Attorney Duane Kennedy of Rochester, MN; ethical gremlin

The state of Minnesota presented Duane A. Kennedy with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Duane guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to inform client of settlement offer in a criminal matter unless his client paid him the balance of outstanding fees

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Duane by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
