Attorney Aliyah Abdullah of Stockton, CA; repeat offender

The state of California provided Aliyah Sabreen Abdullah with a law license in 2012 after she graduated from the University of California at Davis Law School.

The California State Bar found Aliyah guilty of the following misconduct

  • Took little action in personal injury claim on client’s behalf
  • Failed to file proof of service for compliant
  • Failed to file mandatory case management conference statement
  • Failed to appear at case management conference as required
  • Failed to appear at show cause hearing to determine if she should be held in contempt of court for failing to appear at court scheduled hearing
  • Failure to appear at show cause hearing led trial court to dismiss client’s case
  • Failed to advise client of right to seek advice of an independent attorney prior to obtaining a $400 loan from the client

As a consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Aliyah by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year term of probation.

As we speak (ca. September 2015), Aliyah practices at 187 East Weber Street in Stockton, California.
