Tony Perkins: Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner
Congratulations to….
Tony Perkins Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner'
This isn’t the first Award presented to Michelle. In the past, he has been the recipient of nineteen (19) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of one (1) opinion piece. Those awards and opinion piece are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.
KELLY: “You know the argument on the other side though. What if somebody goes in there and says, my sincerely held religious beliefs and now we're back in 1952 say, blacks and whites shouldn't get married. And therefore, I don't care that the Supreme Court said it's legal, I object and therefore, no,” TONY: “Well, it's much different. You have a long standing orthodox view about marriage in the Bible. The issue of interracial marriage is very difficult to point to in scripture. Are there some that hold that view? Yes.” KELLY: “What about Muslims? What about Muslims who say, a Muslim man may not marry a Christian woman and therefore you applying to me on the Muslim clerk? I'm not giving you that marriage license.” TONY: “If – are you saying if there is a Muslim and clerk that –“ KELLY: “The Muslim clerk says, I want a religious accommodation -- how many accommodations can we grant?” TONY: “In this particular case. What you have are the voters of this district, of this region of the country that elected her as the clerk. If they don't like what she is doing they can kick her out. It is not up to some unelected judge to impose his views on her and hold her in contempt of basically whatever he wants.”
So here we have Tony the Despicable Loon actually arguing that nobody has to comply with the orders of an “unelected judge” if that order somehow offends a person’s so-called moral and/or religious beliefs. This argument borders on insanity because it would call for the elimination of the Federal judiciary and that of many states that do not elect their judges.
The sole reason for Tony’s bigoted rant is to gin up more contributions so that he can continue to live high off the hog on the money he obtains from the intellectually disabled folks that actually believe what he says.
Congrats Tony; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Standup Comedians”; you are far too humble.
