Judge Judith Chirlin of LA a greedy thief, idiot & ethically insolvent
In addition to being an unethical leper-con, Judge Judith Chirlin is also a serial thief in that she has unconstitutionally (illegally) engaged in jointly bilking the taxpayers of LA County and California by engaging in a double-dipping waltz wherein she has cheerfully accepted duplicate benefits (health care, pension contributions,etc.) from the State and LA County. Recently, the California Court of Appeals ruled that such conduct was unconstitutional, which means that it was illegal! Judge Judith Chirlin has been on the bench in Los Angeles County since 1985. The State of California unified the court system in 1998 and in doing so the State assumed the cost of all wages and benefits paid to every judge including Chirlin. Put simply, Los An
 geles County was no
longer required to pay said wages and benefits to Chirlin, et al. From 1998 through 2009, Judge Chirlin illegally collected double-benefits from Los Angeles County at a rate of $35- $40,000 a year for a total of about $400,000. Presently, (2010) she is illegally collecting in excess of $50,000 from the overburdened taxpayers of Los Angeles County. In total, Judge Judith Chirlin is earning around $230,000 a year, which is almost five (5) times the median family income of $55,000 (source: US Census Bureau 2008).
 To be fair to Judge Judy, should we really expect her to be aware of the mandates of the California Constitution even though she took an oath to uphold it? Of course not, right?
Posing the question as to whether Judge Judith Chirlin is a thief would be akin to asking:
Maybe several more ethics classes held in Vail in January, Boca Raton in March or Cancun might assist Judge Judith Chirlin in appreciating and/or understanding that her double-dipping conduct over the past thirteen (13) years is not only unethical, but is in fact patently illegal.
