Pat Robertson says God responsible for 08/24/15 Wall Street Melt Down 

During a recent (mid-August 2015) airing of the 700 Club Comedy Hour the Right Rev. Pat Robertson decided to spew forth a little humor in regards to the August 24, 2015 sell-off on Wall Street by suggesting it was the work of God in displaying his angst over legal abortion and federal funding for Planned Parenthood. Patty went on to tell his intellectually delinquent viewers:

• “We will pay dearly as a nation for this thing going on.”
• “And possibly if we were to stop all this slaughter the judgment of God might be lifted from us. But it’s coming, ladies and gentlemen.”
• We just had a little taste of it in terms of the financial system, but it’s going to be shaken to its core in the next few months, years or however long it tastes and it will hurt every one of us.”

In an earlier comedy skit, Patty asserted that the market melt-down was prophesied by Jonathan “The Con” Cahn who laughingly believes that something bad will happen in late September as part of the biblical Shemittah (the year of release & coming judgment for America) cycle. Patty the Comic went on to say:

• “This thing is hitting with great force and if Cahn is right on that Shemittah we could be in for some really rough days in the markets.”

Patty then advised his viewers to purchase gold in preparation for the future market deterioration. This is the same kind of advertisement for gold that you see on the Fox News Comedy Network or hear being pitched by Rev. Sean Hannity.

Rev. Patty and Rev. Sean were hawking and/or telling their viewers/listeners to purchase gold in 2012 when it was $1,780 an ounce. In August 2012 it is selling for $1,100 an ounce, meaning their gullible followers would have taken it in the derriere for $600 an ounce.
