Attorney Richard Gray of Elizabethton, TN; ethical misfit

The state of Tennessee provided Richard Zane Gray with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Dick found it acceptable to file a lawsuit on behalf of his wife and then named himself as the defendant, while also signing a surety for the plaintiff.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. August 2015) Dick practices at 525 East Elk Avenue in Elizabethton, Tennessee.
