Attorney David Talley of Kyoto, Japan; ethical gremlin

The state of California provided David Allen Talley with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of California Hastings Law School.  

The California State Bar Court found Dave guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place in California and prior to his move to Japan.

• Failed to return numerous calls from client
• Failed to revise living trust on client’s behalf
• Failed to advise client his license was suspended
• Failed to keep client informed of developments in her case
• Failed to promptly respond to client status inquiries 

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (August 2015), Dave practices at 1-27-1 Kasumizaka Kyotanabe, in Kyoto, Japan.
