Liberty Counsel's Mat Staver Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner
This isn’t the first Award presented to Matty. In the past, he has been the recipient of fourteen (14) Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.
Matty is yet another loser lawyer that determined just how difficult it would be to earn a dishonest living practicing law. As a consequence, Matty decided to go into the second most ethical profession (used car salesman no. 1), politics.
During a recent (early August 2015) appearance on VCY America’s “Crosstalk” comedy show, hosted by comedian Jim Schneider, Mat decided to once again go on the attack against marriage equality by urging government officials to defy the Surpeme Court’s ruling. (Miranda Blue)
Matty went on to applaud public officials in Alabama and Texas for standing up and resisting the Supreme Court’s marriage equality ruling. Matty then said that these law-breaking officials should create “sanctuary cities” free from gay marriage and abortion rights. Matty then engaged in the following colloquy (means chitchat, Clem):
Matty: “You know what, if some cities can create sanctuary cities for illegal aliens, why can’t a city or a state create a sanctuary city or state to protect the preborn?” Jimmy: “And to protect marriage.” Matty: “And to protect marriage, absolutely.”
What would truly be gratifying is if we had “sanctuary cities” that would save us from Certified A-holes like Matty and those of his ilk (ilk isn’t a Male Elk, Earl).
Congrats Matty; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Screwballs”; you are far too humble.
