Attorney James Harris of Highland, IN; ethical gremlin

The state of Indiana provided James Alan Harris with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

Failed to abide by client decisions re: objectives of representation

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to promptly comply with client requests for information
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2015) Jimmy practices with James A. Harris LLC at 9719 Prairie Avenue in Highland, Indiana.
