Attorney James Tewhey of Salem, MA; ethical dwarf

The state of Massachusetts presented James R. Tewhey with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Boston College Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Misused client funds
• Failed to deposit client funds into client trust account
• Failed to maintain proper records of office account
• Failed to prepare required reconciliation reports every 60 days
• Failed to maintain chronological ledger for each client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2016) Jimmy practices with the Law Offices of James Tewhey at 70 Washington Street in Salem, Massachusetts.
