Judge John Yoder of Martinsburg, WV; ethical dwarf

The state of West Virginia presented John C. Yoder with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the University of Kansas Law School.

For at least twenty-five (25) years, Johnny has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. Apparently, no self respecting law firm in the Martinsburg area was about to offer Johnny a good paying job.

The West Virginia Judicial Investigation Commission found Judge Yoder guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Johnny found it acceptable to allow his law clerk to preside over two name-change court hearings.

Johnny lamely defended his conduct by claiming that the two hearings conflicted with a legislative forum that he was attending in Martinsburg.

In truth, Johnny was likely trolling for votes for his losing attempt at being elected as a justice on the West Virginia Supreme Court.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Johnny continues to sit as a Morgan County Circuit Court Judge in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
