Attorney Charles Amos of Huntington, WV; ethical gremlin

The state of West Virginia presented Charles C. Amos with a law license in 1982.

The Lawyer Disciplinary Board found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct, all of which occurred while he was employed as an Assistant Prosecutor.

• Engaged in improper communications with represented party
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Violated duties he owed to the public
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the West Virginia Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary 75-day suspension of his law license.
