Judge Fred Bonner of Seattle; greedy thief

The state of Washington presented Fred Bonner with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Washington Law School.

Since receiving his law license in 1979, Freddy has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for thirty-five years (1979 to 2014).

This isn’t the first article written and posted regarding the Dishonorable Fred Bonner. A previously story can be found by going to the listed story and URL listed at the end of this article.

From 1989 through 2014, Freddy sat as a Seattle Municipal Court judge. In November 2014, the voters in Seattle had enough of Freddy and voted him out of office.

Beginning in January 2004 and continuing through 2014, Freddy falsely claimed he was carpooling to the courthouse. This falsehood allowed Freddy to receive a discounted parking rate that netted him between $70 and $140 each month. These fraudulent savings came at the expense of the Seattle taxpayers.

Freddy’s fraud was fully exposed after KIRO TV followed him for months while watching him drive to and from work alone. When KIRO reporters confronted Freddy the Thief and asked him about his conduct, he repeatedly lied. Freddy also refused to provide the names of the carpool participants he clamed he had.

So here we have a greedy thief that wasn’t satisfied with his annual taxpayer funded salary of $140,000. Freddy the Thief decided to earn an additional $800 to $15000 a year at taxpayer expense by lying that he was involved in carpooling.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Freddy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Because Judicial Misfits in Washington are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Freddy the Thief was never criminally prosecuted for defrauding the city of Seattle for a period of ten years.
