Attorney Mark Johns of Horsham, PA; Dumbo, serial offender

The state of Pennsylvania presented Mark David Johns with a law license in 2000.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to comply with client requests for information
• Failed to promptly turn over property owing to client
• Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client interests after representation ceased
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Mark’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received one (1) informal admonition and one (1) private reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2015) Mark practices in Horsham, Pennsylvania.
