Attorney Richard Garcia of Denver; Dumbo

The state of Colorado provided Richard D. Garcia with a law license in 1988.

The Colorado State Bar found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to secure work authorization permits for his clients over a period of approximately two years
• Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
• Failed to adequately prepare for clients’ cancellation of removal hearing and appeal
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to permit client to make informed decisions regarding the representation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Dick practices with The Law Offices of Richard D. Garcia at 1461 Pennsylvania Street in Denver, Colorado.
