Attorney Severina Rivera of DC; ethical misfit

The District of Columbia presented Severina B. Rivera with a law license in 1987.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Severina guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to explain matters to the extent necessary to permit clients to make informed decisions concerning the representation

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals punished Severina by gifting her with a complimentary informal admonition.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Severina practices at 2000 P Street NW in Washington, DC.
