Attorney John Machado of DC: moronic loser

The District of Columbia presented John L. Machado with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to represent client competently (moron)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to inform client of status of legal matter
• Failed to explain matters to the extent necessary to permit clients to make informed decisions
• Failed to surrender papers to client after being discharged
• Failed to seek client’s objectives
• Engaged in conduct that seriously interfered with administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary informal admonition.
