Attorney Richard Balsamo of DC; lying repeat offender

 

The District of Columbia presented Richard W. Balsamo with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from American University Law School.

 

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Dick’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  • Repeatedly failed to meet court deadlines

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

 

Dick’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

In one matter, Dick filed a motion for pro hac admission to the District Court of the Virgin Island, Division of St. Croix. In his motion, Dick misrepresented (lied) by failing to state the full circumstances underlying his prior discipline as aforementioned.

 

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

 

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Dick practices with the Balsamo Aviation & Trial Law Firm at 1455 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC.
