Judge R. Scott Krichbaum of Youngstown; arrogant, Il Duce Wannabee, moron
Unfortunately for my friends in the Youngstown area, Judge R. Scott Krichbaum has been sitting on the bench many, many years.
During his tenure as a judge in Youngstown, Judge R. Scott Krichbaum has proven beyond all doubt that he’s a die-in-the-wool ignoramus (my sincerest apologies to ignoramuses).
Judge R. Scott Krichbaum – Youngstown’s Fashion Cop
In early 2010, Judge Krichbaum had the audacity to jail former bar owner John Messer for having the audacity to appear in court wearing a pair of jeans. That’s right folks, a pair of jeans! Il Duce (that’d be Judge Krichbaum) told Mr. Messer: “What are you doing here improperly dressed for my court?” (02/12/10 article written by Peter Milliken of the Youngstown Vindicator – http://tinyurl.com/2gytwea)
FYI: information dummy (that’d be Judge Krichbaum” it ain’t’ your court! The following colloquy (means dialogue Judge Krichbaum) took place:
I suppose if Mr. Messer was wearing a pair of Armani slacks costing $500 that would have been acceptable to Il Duce, right? Of course it’s quite possible that His Royal Highness (that’d be Krichbaum) was also wearing a pair of jeans under his robe, right? Hell for that matter, maybe he wasn’t wearing anything!
Judge R. Scott Krichbaum – Spanked by Court of Appeals
In May 2005, the 7th District Court of Appeals in Youngstown overturned the five-year sentence handed down by Judge Krichbaum. The decision was “per curium” (FYI: means unanimous Mr. Krichbaum).
The Appeals Court specifically ruled that Judge Krichbaum failed to consider statutory (the law) facts for imposing maximum sentences and also failed to specify whether the prison terms were to be served concurrently or consecutively.
Of course it goes without saying that the overburdened taxpayers of Youngstown were forced to spend untold thousands to correct the unlawful conduct of Judge Krichbaum.
Conclusion
What in the hell is this certified loser doing sitting on the bench? Certainly one would hope that more qualified candidates are available in the Youngstown area, right?
It appears that Judge R. Scott Krichbaum has dedicated his legal career to the total avoidance of propriety. In addition, he has apparently spent his entire undistinguished legal career porking out at the public trough. Obviously, no self-respecting law firm in the Youngstown area was about to offer this moron a job!
