Attorney Philip Anderson of Oklahoma City; ethical gremlin

The state of Oklahoma presented Philip Wayne Anderson with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from the Oklahoma City University Law School.

The Oklahoma Bar Association found Phil guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in sexual relationship with client
• Had sex with potential client in order to persuade her to hire him regarding a medical malpractice matter
• Other women made sexual charges against Phil but they weren’t pursued

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oklahoma Supreme Court punished Phil by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license
