Attorney Jarrett Ambeau of Baton Rouge; ethical misfit

The state of Louisiana presented Jarrett Philip Ambeau with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from Louisiana State University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Jarrett guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to safeguard client property
  • Failed to take reasonable steps to surrender proper to his former client within a reasonable time frame

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Jarrett by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jarrett.

As we speak (ca. June 2015) Jarrett practices with The Ambeau Law Firm LLC at 758 Royal Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
