Attorney David Mandelbaum of Leawood, KS; ethical misfit

The state of Missouri presented David Ben Mandelbaum with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the University of Missouri Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Deposited improper amounts into client trust account
• Failed to deposit unearned fees into client trust account
• Failed to promptly notify client of receipt of client funds
• Improperly provided financial assistance to client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on Disciplinary Counsel didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Dave.

As we speak (ca. June 2015), Dave practices with Sandhaus & Mandelbaum LLC at 4601 College Blvd in Leawood, Kansas.
