Attorney Miles Baumgartner of Saskatchewan; congenital liar

The Law Society of Saskatchewan presented Miles Jeffrey Baumgartner with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of British Columbia Law School.

The Law Society of Saskatchewan found Miles guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to represent clients in conscientious manner
• Failed to respond to repeated client inquiries
• Failed to provide client with final report relating to mortgage transaction
• Failed to address accounting issues in reasonable time
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Miles!)
• Attempted to mislead Law Society by back dating file opening dates
• Lied to Law Society about status of his case files
• Knowingly misled (lied) to CIBC Mortgages Inc. in various matters by falsely stating that certain work had been done

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Miles’ First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society of Saskatchewan Committee punished Milers by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.  

As we speak (ca. June 2015), Miles practices with the Miles J. Baumgartner Law Office at 124-2001 Cornwall Street in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
